What are, in the opinion of the members of this board, some of the reasons and/or issues that divide the Church today?

You all sure you all are ready for this?

I could tell you stories about so called church leaders in high positions that would blow you away.

But......I'll limit this post to only a few points.

From my experience your........

6. Politically correctness

It may not be dividing the church but it sure is DESTROYING the church!

Why do I say not dividing?
Because to many churches don't have enough people in them with decernment to call the Pastor and leaders on their letting the world take over the churches teachings because collecting those salaries is a whole lot more important than preaching the word of GOD!

Offend enough people the[$$$] will go somewhere else!

I would also add to list......

7. Careers.........

So called leaders with agenda's that have ZIP to do with God's Kingdom but EVERYTHING to do with going up the church corporate ladder kissing ass where needed while destroying others along with ministries who bring truth to the forefront.

8. Missions.......

To hell with the lost, hurting, local communities around us we are going to be known for sending missionairies all over the world so everyone will say look at us! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Let's get those careers moving now!
Speaking engagements.
Books!
Eventually more career $$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!

I use to attend one of the biggest churches in Washington State.
They had a monthly budget of around $100,000.00
That's right. Over a BILLION a year brought in.

Now how much out of that BILLION do you think they had in their budget for local outreach ministries like mine?

Before I reveal that you need to know this.......

Know what they had on my tax slip where it shows what you gave for that year?

The below quote was from the Pastor.
Part of paragraph..........

"The enclosed information not only reflects your giving and sacrifice...... it reflects the passion of your heart to see God's work accomplished through you and the ministries of our church."

So what they are saying here is your giving reflects where your heart is in relation to God's Kingdom.

One of the biggest if not the biggest church in Washington State had $10,000 in their budget for ALL of the local outreach ministries for 2006.

What a CROCK of CRAP!!!

Church that is where your heart is!

I do notice though you sure do like to brag about going to conferences and people just praising the church for all of their mission trips, bla, bla, bla.

But to HELL with the people in your neighborhoods!
