The deadline is the latest May 23rd, or 30 days after a motion filed under the Federal Rule of Civil Procedure has been resolved by the court, like the controversial motion for JMOL under Rule 50(b) submitted by the FHFA (55 pages), after an oral motion 50(a) during trial (Thus, (b) can't have the same evidence presented to the jury for deliberation in the motion (a)).
Guess what, this motion hasn't been resolved yet.

Judge Lamberth has deadline of Thursday, May 23rd.

Deadline: sine die yet.

You read the tweet that I posted yesterday with the explanation of the deadline, and you covered up part of it, which is the bread and butter during conservatorship.

Cover-up of:
-The Restriction on Capital Distributions. Exceptions: pay down the SPS (U.S. Code §4614(e)) and recapitalization in a separate account (CFR 1237.12).

-The FHFA-C's Rehab power, explaining that it's for the recapitalization. The self-proclaimed unsophisticated lawyer because he is "not a regulatory lawyer, but a litigator", David Thompson, forgot to specify this second part in all his lawsuits, this is why he asked for SPS "repaid" and a "cash refund of the overpayment", as if FnF were Mutual Funds (besides agreeing with a 10% dividend), and nowadays shamelessly asking for debt forgiveness "SPS, cancelled", like a third-world country with the IMF.
It's worth highlighting how all the FHFA directors and many congressmen have attempted to conceal it, by repeating the FHFA-R's Duty instead: To ensure that FnF operate in a safe and sound manner (related to creditworthy operations), and concealing the end of the same sentence: "...including maintenance of adequate capital", that is, meeting the minimum capital requirements. The question is, why?
The conservatory's power, which is the current status of FnF "Conservatorship" that is being concealed because the plotters don't like that it's meant for the financial rehabilitation, talks about "restore" FnF to a "sound condition" as a whole, not their individual operations, which refers to the Balance Sheets, and all comes down to the Capital ratios that serve as a gauge of the soundness in a financial company .

-The Fee Limitation of the United States in the Charter Act dynamics, with the patches inserted by HERA that are assessed accordingly. The Charter Act wasn't construed to make FnF pay an infinite dividend when they need taxpayer's assistance, which is what HERA inserted. First of all, many people aren't aware that a congressional Charter even exists. The provision with unlimited yield on SPS wasn't included as an exception to the provision Fee Limitation of the United States ("PROHIBITION...."), primarily because an exception to a Fee Limitation can't be "infinite yield", otherwise the exception annuls the entire Fee Limitation in the first place. This is why Calabria and Pelosi decided to not post the new (g) INFINITE YIELD, as an exception in this provision. It only shows up the original UST backup since the Charter's inception (c), a rate that takes into consideration the Treasury yield as of the end of the month preceding the purchase (it's been assessed a weighted-average 1.8% cumulative dividend rate on SPS, applying 0.50% spread over Treasuries. 0.299% in the FHLBs' bailout -GAO report-).

-The cheap UST backup of FnF mentioned before (financing of their operations as a last resort (upon negative Net Worth. Image below) de facto updated its obsolete $2.25B limit with the SPSPA thanks, in turn, to the aforementioned provision (g) with an infinite amount.
The UST backup comes after having previously tapped the private capital markets (#2 in the Public Mission: respond appropriately to the private capital markets. 2006-2008 issuances of Cs and JPSs).
A UST backup of FnF (both Equity and Debt) in exchange for their Public Mission related to Secondary Market operations, as explicitly stated in the section Purposes of the Charter Act, not about refinancings and loan modifications, or special assistance functions (kept by FHA/GNMA).

A Separate Account plan enabled by the FHFA-C's Incidental Power "any action authorized by this section, in the best interests of FnF or the Agency". Good. But it has needed 7 Securities Law violations in the process.
The scammers use this Incidental Power to enable the multiple breaches of the statutory provisions and basic finance (a dividend is a distribution of Earnings. Unavailable with Accumulated Deficit Retained Earnings accounts), by peddling the rhetoric: "FHFA has absolute discretion" and "FHFA can do whatever the hell it wants".
The cover-up of a material fact is a felony of Making False Statements and, in our case, it's also stock price manipulation.
A symbolic all-in settlement is the best way to put an end to the Fanniegate controversy.

The litigants and company will have to pay us $4.8B in Punitive Damages (0.25% IRR on a $50 par value JPS during 15 years).
The common shareholders waive this claim against their counterparty, the DOJ, in the case of "as is" or "takeover" scenarios.
The 3rd round of Punitive Damages is for the Deferred Income accounting ($60B combined is recorded as Debt, not Equity. $41B Freddie Mac alone), in the case that it's amortized into earnings in one fell swoop without the existing Equity holders.

2. I had seen an article with the trailing 3 year number but lets simply use per year
Inflation 2021 7.04 (note this is the year with most COVID and least POTUS impact)
inflation 2022 6.45
inflation 2023 3.35

assuming 100 at end of 2020 - the compounded impact is 18% (or the simple growth is almost
17%)

At same time - wages have grown about 15% ---

What Americans appear to want - is 2024 Wage Level and 2020 Price Level
Not going to happen
And with media talking about price increases of 25-40 percent (way too high) and not mentioning 15MM jobs added and 15% wage growth - no wonder people have the impression they have
HELL _ we are retired with 50% of income on fixed pension and 50% Social Security - so we feel the pinch as well but it is not crazy (we are old enough to have lived through the Volker years and such -- to include 3-4-5 year CD (FDIC insured) rates of 13 14 15 %
